All I gotta say is I'm never disappointed with this place :) could eat here till my stomach hurts which can't be said for a lot of places. The freshness is amazing, definitely hard to find a spot similar to this in the area
My niece and brother-in-law never had hibachi before, so we knew we needed to take them when she came to visit. Since we are still relatively new to the area, my husband asked his boss for recommendations, and he recommended Ooka. We were not disappointed. The service is top notch and the food was plentiful. I'm glad we came hungry! The restaurant was beautifully decorated and clean. I look forward to returning.
I'm surprised the reviews for this restaurant are not higher! I've eaten here several times and I can confidently say it's the best Japanese food I've ever had. Everything is so fresh. The Chilean sea bass appetizer special is amazing. The steak yaki noodles are my favorite. Great selection of wines and saki. I'm not usually a big fan of Asian food or seafood but I love this restaurant.
Great service, nice ambiance, we arrived late for our reservation and they still honored our reservation. I know most people come for the sushi, this time I decided to go for the airline chicken, it was very average and I wish it would've at least been sliced, but the teriyaki sauce was really good. My date for the lobster dynamite which is always a crowd pleaser, but the doylestown location does as much better presentation of the lobster dynamite roll. Overall, decent but somehow think the doylestown location does everything better, even the miso soup as mine had 2 barely visible pieces of tofu in it and the salad was practically soggy with dressing.
Love this place! It's a good date spot, but I've also taken my teenaged children there. You can dress however you want and not feel out of place, some are casual while others may be a bit dressier. I enjoy the dinner when it's more crowded, but my favorite time to go is during lunch hours. You can't beat the price, and if you're lucky, you'll be the only person there, feeling like you're getting the vip treatment with you own cooking demonstration. A lunch must-try is the bento box! The food is consistently delicious!
Visited Ooka for a late lunch one day, and was not disappointed. The restaurant had a very nice ambience. The staff was friendly and attentive. The pineapple shrimp served on a hot stone with the table favorite. The teriyaki New York strip steak was also delicious. But everything we tried was really good. I definitely visit OOKA again.
Fresh sushi. Contemporary decor. Attentive and pleasant service. Ooka is an excellent sushi restaurant, which features a full bar, sushi bar, plenty of booths and banquets. The menu offers many options. I ordered the spicy tuna roll, a salmon roll, AC an eel and cucumber roll, and Montgomery specialty roll. Everything was delicious. If you're in the area, this is the place to go for sushi. I highly recommend.
